Advises travel, transport, logistics, and mobility-technology companies on applying digital and advanced analytics to transform performance across operations, commercial business, and strategy

Jules leads McKinsey’s global advanced-analytics and digital work in the Travel, Transport & Logistics Practice. In his nearly two decades with McKinsey, he has developed deep experience in serving transport and industrial clients across the private and public sectors in areas such as operational efficiency and transformation, regulatory strategy, talent, capital investment, maintenance, commercial sales and loyalty, and digital transformation. He supports many of these organizations in deploying digital and advanced-analytics approaches and capabilities to bring about fundamental changes to improve decision making and performance.

Additionally, Jules leads QuantumBlack—an advanced analytics company within McKinsey that operates at the intersection of strategy, technology, and design—in North America to improve performance outcomes for organizations across industries. QuantumBlack brings interdisciplinary teams together to harness advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, data, design, and technology and combines this expertise with human judgement to reimagine and rework how a business can operate in the future.

Jules supports numerous clients across the transport-logistics landscape on issues that include rail; logistics; freight; distribution and warehousing; post, parcel, and e-commerce fulfilment; and trucking. He also works extensively with consumer-travel organizations, such as hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car-rental organizations, urban-transit organizations, and tourism companies—specifically, those in the online travel-technology ecosystem and in new mobility-technology disruption.

Jules has advised clients in many countries around the world, including extensive experience across the United States, in the United Kingdom (where he grew up and was based with McKinsey for a decade), as well as in Canada, India, Israel, the Middle East, South Africa, and Western Europe.
