Fernando has extensive experience in driving end-to-end transformations for manufacturing and service companies. He has deep expertise in logistics and leads McKinsey's logistics service line globally. Fernando’s recent projects focused on helping companies drive revenue growth and margin improvement by building capabilities that enabled improved execution in commercial and operational functions.

Examples of his work include the following:

  • Executing a retail product portfolio redesign for a $45 billion food manufacturer
  • Driving $100 million EBITDA impact through an end-to-end ops transformation for a $15 billion diversified agriculture player
  • Capturing ~500 basis points of margin through revenue growth management for a $5B food manufacturing
  • Delivering ~$700M cost reduction with a manufacturing transformation for a $20B+ pulp and paper company

Before rejoining McKinsey, Fernando was the CEO of a leading tilapia processing company, with more than 1,300 employees serving the US, Canada, and Europe.
