Brindan has spent his entire career in the healthcare and life-sciences sectors, working with leading private, public, and not-for-profit organizations across Asia–Pacific, Europe, and the United States while also spending over a decade in our London office.
He focuses on strategy and organizational issues across the healthcare and life-sciences value chains and frequently works at the intersection of the two, with a deep and abiding commitment to patient benefit and the provision of innovative and sustainable care.
While leading our healthcare and life sciences team in Australia and New Zealand, Brindan is also the local geographical leader for the McKinsey Health Institute.
Some examples of his recent work include the following:
- working with healthcare providers on improving patient outcomes, quality, and experience, while ensuring improvements in operational performance
- building digital and analytic capabilities in life-sciences organizations to ensure more effective R&D through to addressing unmet medical needs
- supporting clients, including federal and state government agencies and departments in driving innovation in the life-sciences ecosystem
- advising medical-research groups on long-term strategic focus and approach to ensuring sustainable impact
- working with major global multilateral organizations around pandemic preparedness approaches
Brindan also worked as a physician in Sydney before joining McKinsey.
