Serves as the director of health data and analytics at the McKinsey Health Institute

Brad leads MHI’s cross-cutting research efforts to define, measure, and prioritize health across populations, using advanced analytics and modeling to support the case for health systems, employers, and policymakers to invest in health. His work spans global challenges such as mental health and noncommunicable diseases, where he leads scalable, data-driven research that supports action.

At MHI, Brad has co-authored major publications, including a 30-country survey on holistic employee health, research on closing women’s health gaps, and analyses elevating brain health in global agendas. His contributions combine rigorous measurement with actionable insight, reframing how organizations and societies think about health as both a human and economic imperative.

Brad’s leadership is grounded in the belief that better data can drive better outcomes. By equipping policymakers, health institutions, and private sector stakeholders with MHI’s insights, he works to advance the institute’s mission to help people everywhere live healthier, longer lives.

Brad holds a PhD in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s and master’s in chemical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
