You will be tasked with engaging both VG&Media and Firm colleagues on a broad range of topics, but primarily in support of our Transformation initiatives, operational imperatives and people propositions. By strategically leveraging inspirational storytelling and expert writing & editing through our channels, you will produce cutting-edge content and help develop innovative campaigns to engage our customers. Working with our Creative Team, you will help develop insightful marketing campaigns by designing communication strategies and assets that engage our audiences. You will oversee the implementation of those communication strategies, including coordinating day-to-day communication activities.
You will think strategically and display meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure to meet deadlines. You will exercise excellent interpersonal communication skills, prioritizing and adapting in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, communication specialists should be innovative, organized, and self-motivated, with a keen interest in driving persuasive strategic messages with key internal stakeholders. You will also need proactive stakeholder management skills, a client service-oriented mindset, and strong interest in developing and implementing a global communication program that drives engagement.
You will report directly to the Communication Manager of Global Visual Graphics & Media’s Change Management & Communication Team. Working as part of a multi-talented global team of Communication Experts/Specialists, Change Management Experts/Specialists, Creative Experts, Creative Designers and a Solutions/Digital Property Lead, the Publishing Communication Specialist is responsible for helping shape, create, and amplify our VG&Media’s voice to support our Transformation, operation, and other functional priorities. You will, also, work closely with our Change Management Specialists who implement change strategies to drive adoption for new services and products that transform our services from historically grown siloed offerings to an integrated global service offering built around our users’ needs. Furthermore, you’ll have the opportunity to assist in the development of the team’s communication skills (strategic, written, interpersonal), knowledge and capabilities through identification and dissemination of best practices and the design and implementation of awareness-building initiatives.
